Simply beautiful in snow. The access road is currently closed to cars. You can go there on foot. It's currently worth it

Nice rustic cozy restaurant to strengthen yourself or just to make a stopover. There are some parking spaces at the house, but there is also a large parking lot for hikers. In summer there is the possibility to sit outside. The menu and drinks menu offers a wide range. The service is attentive and friendly. Only the kitchen could be a bit faster. The dishes are fresh and taste, in my opinion, really good. The price / performance ratio is also fair.

Food was okay. Drinks took a long time, although hardly anything was going on. When the drink came it was half beer and half foam.

Waited an hour for the food. Then a little disappointed. Salted fries. Hard few croquettes .. SHADE. But a lovely waitress. Will unfortunately not go back again

Well located for motorcyclists, I call him the palette man, his tables outside could be better, 5 stars for helpfulness - if he used his compressor, when he was repairing a motorcycle tire, thank you!

Very quaint and cozy restaurant. The bar is separated by a glass wall and you can actually smoke there. Prices are quite humane.

Great location in the middle of the forest, individual menu with game offers (including burgers!) And also Belgian beer on offer. Here you can relax in the comfortably upholstered pallet furniture after hikes and excursions. The staff is nice and helpful, although sometimes not always well informed about the offer of the bar due to the temporary status. The boss might be able to provide up-to-date information about the beer specialties available on a daily menu ;-)

Friendly staff, even with a full terrace;) The portion was ok. For me it should have been a little more and a little more expensive. But less than 30 € for a game dish and a wheat beer are completely ok.

Great food, everything delicious and freshly prepared. Staff is super nice too. Table should be pre-ordered on Sundays if you want to sit outside.

It was alright. Took us about an hour to get there. Lots of road closures on the way. I would have given it a 5 star if I had found anything. Having to wear the masks when it's about 23 degrees is hard, but necessary!!

I liked it a lot and the food was delicious, but due to renovations you couldn't see everything and everywhere. Prices are really high, service friendly, food took forever even though it wasn't very busy.

After a decelerating hike to end in the Blockhaus Schwarzer Mann reward the palate. Here you are spot on. Great atmosphere, really good cuisine, something for everyone, plenty of drinks to choose from and a very courteous and service-oriented force made for a very nice day in the Eifel.

A very nice restaurant with a great beer garden. Ideal to end an Eifel hike around the Black Man. When we were there it was very busy, the service seemed understaffed. So everything took a long time. But the waiters were very friendly and still well set up for one or the other conversation. We can recommend the restaurant.

Wonderful location, both in summer and winter. Decent food.
